Ramos thinks that the match will be like they played against Sevilla and even more exciting.

Ramos said:

“Real Madrid will win surely. This match will be a magical match  like Sevilla’s match and the fans will support us like they did on Saturday night.

“I think hopefully we will win 3-0.”

For a defender Ramos is showing great abilities in attacking. The 23 years old score three goals for the whites this season, for a defender that’s an amazing number of goals he also can assists and his crosses helped a lot. Last match against Sevilla the last goal came from Van Der after a cross from Ramos to Higuain then Van Der. He also made several chances during the match including his two chances that were so close to the goal.

Ramos also grabbed  a goal against France in Stade De France, making his fifth goal for La Roja. His goal was scored by his left foot, this was the first time Sergio scores a left foot goal for the national team and he was glad for this accomplishment.

His performance this week was astonishing that he is the number one player for the week as declared by goal.com.

The Andalusian player has a big energy that he can play in as a defender or an attacker the 23 years old can effect the national team in the world cup since he has scoring abilities especially heading abilities and he can assists, pass, do long crosses and he perform his defence role brilliantly .He is a versatile player capable of performing well in any defensive position.

Spain had their chance from Cesc fabregas’s free kick that Sergio Bousquet couldn’t head it. Villa had a second chance after a mistake from France’s defence but the ball went outside the field.

At min. 21 Valencia’s brilliant striker Villa made the first goal for Spain, after help from Barca’s midfielder Iniesta Villa shot the ball into Lloris goal.

It was France’s turn to make their chance after Lass received a corner but Real’s goalkeeper Casillas saved it.

Then before the end of the first half Real’s talented and amazing defender made the second to break the curse for Spain. With the help of his teammate Xabi Alonso,  Ramos played the ball brilliantly and shot it into the goal to make the second for Spain and his fifth goal for La Roja.

Del Bosque made some changes by substituting Fernando Torres and Xavi with Fabregas and Villa.

With these changes Torres made the first chance of the second half after a pass form Sergio Ramos but France’s goal keeper saved the ball.

France didn’t give up with many chances made they couldn’t made not a single goal in the match thanks to the Spanish defense and Iker Casillas.

Jesus Navas made the last chance when a long pass Jesus ran towards the goal and France’s defence couldn’t reach him. However, his ball was wide and didn’t enter the goal.

After a report from Marca about Jesus Navas going to Real Madrid this summer, Sergio responded to the topic in a post-training  press conference. The 23 years old defender also answered some questions about his position and also responded to Real’s former coach Bernd Schuster’s comments, that Real Madrid is nothing without Cristiano Ronaldo.

About Navas :

 ”I believe that he is ready to play for a team like Real Madrid. He is an incredible player who is showing that he is prepared to play here (at Real Madrid). He is on the same level as some of the world’s best players and would help this team a lot.”

About Bernd Schuster’s comments:

“The numbers are there. We are the team that has scored the most goals. I do not want to enter a war of words and we need to be focused on ourselves to get full points out of our next match against Tenerife.”

About his position:

 ”If there is something I should fear it is that I do not play at all. For any player, the important thing is to be in the starting XI. I am here to play where I am needed.”

Sergio Ramos reached lately his 200 appearance for Real Madrid. However, the 23 years old is not sure whether he will end his career at the Santiago Bernabeu or not.

Ramos told AS:
“I do not know if I will finish my career at Real Madrid or elsewhere. Football takes many turns.”

The Spanish defender also added that Sevilla will always stay in his heart even if he  grew up playing  in the white shirt.

“I have grown as a person and as a player at Real Madrid but will always carry Sevilla in my heart.”

Sergio Ramos reached his 2oo appearance for Real Madrid. Sergio Ramos moved to Real Madrid in summer 2005 and scored twenty goals for The Blancos. The Gipsy is proud for reaching this number of appearances.

 After Real Madrid’s loss against Lyon in Champions League round 16, Sergio Ramos  is confident that his side will overcome Lyon at the Bernabeau. Real Madrid lost on Stade Gerland after a goal from Makoun, Ramos called his teammates to calm down. The 23 years old spoke to AS about the match.

 

” We must be calm and hope to turn the tie around. We still have 90 minutes ahead and I hope we can turn the score around. We had opportunities to score, but failed to take them. We must correct the mistakes we made. I had a chance to score with my head and I would have liked to have taken it. “

Sergio Ramos Real Madrid defender spoke to the Spanish magazine AS, about the Champions League and La Liga trophies, and wining them both would be like a dream coming true.

“The double is a realistic dream,”

“Barcelona are very consistent but we have won everything at home [in the league]. There is a long way to go and I believe there will be a struggle until the end.”

“We are very excited about the Champions League, to overcome the obstacle of not having won it in five years and the dream of winning the tenth at the Bernabeu. It is a difficult challenge but we will give everything for it.”

Ramos spoke to Marca today after training about Ronaldo’s red card and his position in the field.

About Ronaldo’s red card Ramos said:

 ”Cristiano had no intention of harming the player. We [the squad] believe the punishment is unjust. They are two matches that he must now sit out and he is an important loss for Real Madrid. Cristiano has received the support of the entire squad and we all think the same thing. He was only trying to get past the player.”

Ramos also had a hit by the elbow from Duda in the match. He told Marca about the incident and about Messis’s hit against Sevilla’s Valiente. 

“In my case, I received the elbow from Duda in an involuntary action disputing the same ball. Messi had the luck of not hitting his defender in the face and Cristiano had the bad luck of breaking his defender’s nose”

 Ramos also spoke about Ronaldo’s absence in the next matches: “An absence of a player like him is always difficult, but we have a talented enough squad to win.”

About his position in the field:

“If I have to play in the centre of defense I will do it happily even though I habitually frequent the right side.”

About the five points distance between Real and Barca: “A distance of five points is not much and we intend not to give up any more ground. We will fight until the bitter end as always. This weekend is not decisive as there’s a lot of Liga left.”

Finally, Sergio Ramos spoke about Karim Benzema’s problem in adapting in Spain :  “It’s that you all do not speak with him as we do. He is very kind, speaks a bit of Spanish, and is always jovial.”
